“Okay, thanks sooo much! Can you stand over there and spin for me?”
And this is what we get. :) I went to the Upper Canada Village this weekend in Morrisburg, Ontario – it is an 1800’s pioneer village and all the workers were perfectly dressed in their pioneer gear, so I had to stop a few of them for photos. All of them, naturally, stood, stared, and smiled directly at the camera – they do this all time, no big deal. Except… I don’t take pictures of people who stand, stare, and smile at the camera. So I told her to spin so that her skirt would fly in the air and ta-da!!! :)

For we can fly,
Up, up and away!
I’m back! I skipped two photos the past two days but it was because I was out road tripping to get new photos. :) I had an amazing, amazing weekend. I’m slowly knocking things off my photo-bucket list. Here’s a beautiful flowered hot air balloon sailing across the sky. If it didn’t cost $190/person to get on one of these, I would’ve gone on.
and nothing special and uninteresting and you drive right past it without looking back. I think it’s breathtaking and beautiful and interesting and I pull over to let my eyes make love and then snap a photo.
